Custom Fireplace Construction with Class A Chimney and Offset Flue

Complete Chimney Stack Rebuild and Masonry Restoration
A severely deteriorated rooftop chimney stack was dismantled to a sound base and rebuilt in new red brick, with a new crown and a stainless steel cap.
The existing chimney showed extensive masonry deterioration: failed mortar joints, damaged brickwork and a severely compromised crown. Years of weather exposure had left the stack beyond repair, so the damaged masonry was carefully dismantled down to a stable structural base.
Our masonry team then constructed a brand-new chimney stack using new red masonry brick and high-quality mortar, maintaining proper dimensions, alignment and structural integrity throughout the rebuild. Each course was professionally laid and reinforced to create a strong, durable chimney capable of withstanding long-term exposure to New York weather.
The project required controlled demolition, rooftop protection, debris management and careful integration of the new chimney with the existing roof. To finish, we cemented a new chimney crown to protect the masonry from rain, snow and freeze-thaw cycles, and installed a protective stainless steel chimney cap at the termination.
Final result: a completely reconstructed, structurally sound, weather-resistant masonry chimney with new brickwork, mortar joints, crown and cap, restoring both the performance and the appearance of the original system.
